Sarah Joy Street

Hi, I’m Sarah Joy, a freelance graphic designer, veteran and yogi based in Alexandria, Virginia.

I first fell in love with graphic design in high school after taking an elective course. I was inspired!

I went on to study graphic design in college and in 2017, I graduated from Kennesaw State University with a BFA in Graphic Communications.

Feeling a little burnt out after graduation, I took a gap year and taught English in Taiwan! I caught the travel bug and decided to join the Air Force in hopes of experiencing more of the world.

And that I did! I traveled around Europe while stationed in Germany and had the best time. But something was missing...my creativity.

In 2022, I launched my own freelance design business to reignite that joy within me, to work with nonprofits and design for change.

I specialize in branding and marketing collateral for mission-drive organizations. My style is colorful, bold, and organically inspired.

I value self expression, well-being and love collaborating with like-minded individuals.
