About
Hi, I’m Sarah Joy, a freelance graphic designer, Mom, yogi and Air Force veteran based in Alexandria, Virginia.
My creative passion began from scrapbooking and taking an elective design course in High School. I studied graphic design in college and graduated from Kennesaw State University with a BFA in Graphic Communications in 2017. 
Feeling a little burnt out after graduation, I took a gap year and taught English in Kinmen, Taiwan! I caught the travel bug and decided to join the Air Force in hopes of experiencing more of the world. I am so fortunate to have traveled around Europe while stationed in Germany and I had the best time. But something was missing...my creativity.
In 2022, I launched my freelance design business to reignite that joy within me design for change. I have had the honor of collaborating with nonprofits and wellness brands across the country to advance their mission through beautiful and strategic design. My style is colorful, bold, and organically inspired.
I value self expression, well-being and love collaborating with like-minded individuals. I look forward to working with you!
